Michael Amende

Michael Amende is one of the founders of Inspirazi.

His credo is: communication, communication and once more communication!

Michael puts people and their communication central. Michael has worked in many different roles, professions and organisations. He was a profession soldier (instructor), banker, manager of a secondment agencies and manager of a department of the Dutch centre of the judiciary and fulfilled the last years with much pleasure and alternatively the following roles: interviewing journalist for local radio, lawyer, mediator, trainer and coach. Hereafter you find an overview of his experience.

Michael has started his executive career as a profession soldier (instructor). At several secondment agencies Michael created an explosive increase in turnover. He is a pioneer and has wide experience with the growths and downsizing of organisations. In all those situations permanent development and stimulating of his employees were essential for him.

Change was also the key word at the centre for administrative law (a department of the Dutch Ministry of Justice) during the transformation to an independent governing body, so-called ZBO.

Michaels preferred management style could be labelled as coaching and stimulating, but if necessary he can also change to other styles, depending on the situation.

Lawyer (attorney) and mediator
Michael was trained by the Erasmus University in Rotterdam to become a lawyer. After receiving a broad professional training by the Dutch bar association Michael is meanwhile 15 years working as a lawyer and specializes in the Dutch entrprice act, labour and entertainment law. The emphasis lies on advising and trying to solve conflicts through mediation first. When a amiacable settlement can not be found, he will take cases to court. He has been trained and working as a mediator since 2004. His customers vary from individuals to larger companies and government agencies. As a mediator Michael works on labour disputes and divorce case.

Michael has been given management and communication trainings to businesses and government, for example for the Dutch bar association, Capgemini Academy, Europrotector, Van Ameyde Group, municipalities, police force, Council for the child protection, the child welfare office and Smart-Mintz (subsidiary of Randstad temping agency) and to lawyers in Ukraine by invitation of the European Union and the Council of Europe.

Michael are also experience in the field of HRM: coaching of employees and others, recruitment & selection, career coaching, outplacement, training and developing people, headhunting, secondment and interim management.
